Welcome to the IBEW 160

Local Union 160 was chartered on August 30, 1938 with a total of 13 members. Today our membership consists of over 3,500 and our Brothers and Sisters work for 77 different companies under 42 different contracts throughout the State of Minnesota.

Our goal is to keep our membership strong and continue to work together for the betterment of our union. Organizing is always a top priority with the I.B.E.W. as it is with Local 160.

Local 160's office is comprised of our Business Manager/Financial Secretary, seven Business Representatives, one Membership Development Coordinator and four office staff personnel.

If you would like to receive (or continue receiving) text messages from the hall about membership meetings, section meetings, upcoming contract votes, events, etc., you will need to "opt-in" to text messages by MARCH 1, 2024

Any member that is currently using the Working Systems mobile app can “opt-in” on the app (instructions are on the app) OR members can visit notify.workingsystems.com and follow the prompts to opt-in or opt-out.

MOBILE & ONLINE PAYMENTS
We are pleased to announce that there is now a mobile app and online link to make dues payments for outside power members (Mo Valley) and tree trimmers. In addition to these new payment options, you may still call with credit card information, send a check or use ACH (if you are enrolled).

To login to the ONLINE PAYMENT tool, click on the RESOURCES tab
-Your Username is your Card Number
-Your Initial Password is your Last name and the last four digits of your SSN
-You will be required to change your password on your first login.

Reminder - this new payment option is only for members who are outside power members and those under the tree trimmer contract.
